Traffic Safety Commission
This commission researches and recommends city traffic safety issues, actions, and priorities. The Commission shall consist of 10 members serving a term of 3 years. The terms shall be staggered so that the terms of not more than 3 members shall expire in any one year. Appointed members shall be selected from: 1 Joint School District 2, 1 City planning , 1 ACHD , 1 city police dept , 1 city attorney or deputy, 4 local citizens and one individual designated to represent youth which serves a term of 1 year. Meetings are held at 3:45 pm on the third Tuesday of each month in the City Council Chamber at Meridian City Hall.
