HARMS REAPPOINTED TO MERIDIAN HISTORICAL PRESERVATION COMMISSION


Meridian, ID – (July 8, 2009) – Meridian Mayor Tammy de Weerd’s reappointment of Carole Harms to the Historical Preservation Commission was confirmed by the Meridian City Council on July 7, 2009.  Harms’ appointment is for a three-year term.


“Carole has shown great dedication to the City of Meridian, providing valuable input that is a great benefit to our community.  We look forward to her continued efforts to preserve our historical heritage,” said Mayor De Weerd.


The Historic Preservation Commission works to preserve the character and fabric of historically-significant areas and structures within Meridian in order to honor and preserve its rich heritage for future generations.
