Meridian Development Corporation Seeks to Fill Board Vacancy

Meridian, ID – (August 24, 2009)  – The Meridian Development Corporation (MDC), the independent agency leading downtown Meridian’s urban renewal efforts, is seeking to fill a vacancy on its Board of Commissioners.

The MDC is governed by a seven-member board. Members of the Board are appointed by the Mayor and confirmed by a majority vote of the Meridian City Council. Commissioners serve three-year terms and meet the second Wednesday of each month, at 7:30 a.m., at Meridian City Hall.

This position is to fill a recent vacancy, and the new member will be appointed to serve through August 2010.
