Artists Needed for Meridian Wine & Dine Festival
 


Meridian, ID – (September 1, 2009) – The Meridian Arts Commission is currently seeking applications from local artists interested in displaying their work at the Meridian Wine & Dine Festival. The event, sponsored by the Meridian Downtown Business Association, will be Friday, September 18, from 5:30 – 7:30 p.m., outdoors on the Meridian City Hall Plaza.


Applications are being sought from Idaho realist and modern painters, fine-art photographers, sculptors, and crafters. Selected artists will pay a fee for their festival space and as part of the event are encouraged to demonstrate their work and engage in art discussions with visitors interested in purchasing artwork. 


To apply, e-mail a letter of interest along with photos of your artwork and booth display to
 mac@meridiancity.org or mail them to: Meridian Arts Commission, 33 E. Broadway Avenue, Meridian, ID 83642. Electronic applications are preferred. The application deadline is September 8, 2009, at 5:00 p.m.
