Meridian Business Day Keynote to Deliver

Inspiring and Impactful Presentation

Meridian, ID – (September 24, 2010) – Meridian’s biggest networking workshop, Meridian Business Day, returns to Meridian City Hall on September 30, 2010 beginning at 8:00 am and concluding with a networking lunch for attendees. The free event will begin with a unique keynote speaker, John Tyler, an area magician whose life has dramatically changed in the past three months due to a relapse of cancer with the theme of “Leadership through Humor.”

Originally selected as a workshop speaker by previous Meridian Business Day attendees, John was chosen to be keynote speaker by the Meridian Business Day steering committee.  His story of determination and hope will impact attendees both in and out of the workplace.

“John has been given less than 3 months to live, but he is committed to starting a new career in public speaking.  With the support of his family and the Meridian business community, John will have this opportunity to shine,” said event organizer Brandon Wright.

Meridian Business Day, one of the Treasure Valley’s best networking events, provides a unique opportunity for business owners and professionals to participate in workshops that focus on education, networking, and business growth. More than a dozen of the area’s leading professionals chosen by previous Meridian Business Day attendees will share their outlook on the local economy, business growth and success as part of this free event.

“We wanted to make sure that the workshops were meeting the needs of the attendees so all the presenters were chosen by previous Meridian Business Day attendees.  This will help ensure the content stays relevant and information beneficial,” said Cory Smith, a member of the event’s steering committee.
