MERIDIAN PARKS AND RECREATION PRESENTS THE FIRST

ANNUAL LEGENDS OF DODGEBALL SPRING TOURNAMENT

 

Meridian, ID – (February 24, 2011) – The Meridian Parks and Recreation Department is now accepting registrations for the 1st Annual Legends of Dodgeball Spring Tournament which will be held on March 12th at the Home Court Y in Meridian.  The tournament is sponsored by Idaho Pizza Company.

 

The tournament will consist of two divisions: Co-ed and Open, and is limited to 16 teams in each division. Each team is guaranteed four matches as part of the event including two round-robin matches leading into a double-elimination tournament.

 

Registration forms are due by March 4, 2011 at 5:00 p.m. at a cost of $125 per team.  Due to the limited space available teams are encouraged to register early to ensure a spot in the tournament. Cash prizes and t-shirts will be given to the winners.  In addition, each team will receive a free pizza at the awards ceremony at Idaho Pizza Company’s Meridian location.
