Youth Scholarship Program
Financial assistance is available for children up to 18 years old, who are interested in participating in Meridian Parks and Recreation activities.
Families residing within the City of Meridian can receive assistance for up to 80% of an activity fee, for a maximum of $150.00 per year/ per child.
To be eligible, families must be receiving assistance through one of the following programs:
Free school lunches, Food Stamps, AFDC, or Energy Assistance, and reside at an address within the Meridian city limits.
The Care Enough to Share application form must be submitted two business days prior to program start date to recieve financial assistance.
Parents/Guardians will need to fill out the residency information, what type of assistance they are receiving and which class they would like to enroll their child in.
Documentation that the applicant is involved in one of the assistance programs is required and must be provided with application.

The Care Enough to Share program is funded by proceeds from the Meridian Barn Sour, Meridian Community Golf Scramble and other annonymous donations.
