Meridian’s Historic Preservation Commission celebrates Historic Preservation Month on Thursday, May 24 from 5:30 – 7:00 p.m.  Meet commissioners at Meridian City Hall at 5:30 p.m. or 6:15 p.m. for the chance to catch a tour and get an insider’s sneak peek of five of the properties on the Meridian Historic Walking Tour including: the Zamzow’s Mill, the Pine Street School, the Clara Hill House, the Nourse House, and the Bell House. Six local businesses on our historic walking tour will also be open for the public to walk inside and view: Tribute Media at the Idaho Building, As You Wish Clothiers at the Rice Pharmacy, Something Special Antiques at the Tolleth House, The Vault at the Bank of Meridian, and Heritage Hop Haus at the Modern Woodmen of America building. Commissioners will also teach people how to use our walking tour app so that members of the public can earn a challenge coin!
