Public Invited to Meridian Anti-Drug Coalition’s Recovery Day Breakfast

WHAT: Meridian Anti-Drug Coalition (MADC) Recovery Day Breakfast – 13th annual event held during the month of September, which is National Recovery Month.

WHO: Presenters include Meridian Mayor Tammy de Weerd, MADC Director Kendall Nagy, and features PEER Wellness Center founder Monica Forbes
The public is invited to a recovery celebration as part of National Recovery Month featuring Monica Forbes, the founder of PEER Wellness Center, Idaho’s first Recovery Community Center. The center was built to be a safe-place and a resource for skill-building, education, information, support and socialization for those in recovery and their loved ones. Monica will share her inspiring journey through opioid addiction and her recovery process, as well as focusing on this year’s theme which is health, home, purpose and community. A complimentary continental breakfast will be served 30 minutes before and 30 minutes after her presentation.
