The 2022 season of Meridian’s popular Concerts on Broadway live music series will feature three Saturday night concerts in Meridian City Hall’s outdoor plaza, located at 33 E. Broadway Avenue in downtown Meridian. Each of the concerts are free to attend and will begin with an opening act at 6:30 pm and the headliners taking the stage at 7:00 pm.

Smooth Avenue (smoothavanueband.com) will kick off the season on Saturday, August 27, adding a smooth twist to popular funk, soul and Motown hits. The opening act that evening will be the Treasure Valley Children’s Theater’s Youth Ambassadors singing and dancing to “Biggest Blame Fool” from Seussical the Musical.

The High Street Party Band (thehighstreetband.com) will bring high-energy danceable hits from across the decades on Saturday, September 10. And the Boise-based country rock cover band Soul Patch (soulpatchboise.com) will headline a concert on Saturday, September 24.

Seating is available in the plaza’s built-in amphitheater, but attendees are encouraged to bring folding chairs or lawn blankets. Food and beverages may also be brought in.

Concerts on Broadway is a presentation of the Meridian Arts Commission with sponsorship support from the Meridian Development Corporation and Investment Resources of America.
