Construction Alert

**From 9-9-21 through 10-15-21 a hard closure at the intersection of Lake Hazel and Locust Grove will close Lake Hazel off to all East-bound traffic. The only access to the park will be from Eagle Road heading West on Lake Hazel. People leaving the park will have to travel East to Eagle Road to exit the area. This temporary closure will be completed mid-October.

Picnic Shelters Available to Rent ~

Green Shelter – Capacity of 300 – Rental fee is $125 per 4-hour time block (9am-2pm or 4-9pm)

Red Shelter – Capacity of 200 – Rental fee is $90 per 4-hour time block (9am-2pm or 4-9pm)

Blue Shelter – Capacity of 150 – Rental fee if $75 per 4-hour time block (9am-2pm or 4-9pm)

Note: All shelters have electricity and charcoal grills that are included with paid shelter rentals.

Picnic Shelters can be reserved online at any time at or by calling Meridian Parks and Recreation at 208-888-3579 during regular work hours (Monday through Friday, 8:00 am – 5:00 pm, excluding major holidays). Shelter reservations must be paid for at time of reservation.
