Meridian City Hall’s Initial Point Gallery announces its newest exhibition, "Myths and Morals," opening Tuesday, August 5, 2025. This exhibit will feature the works of three talented local artists: Brecken Bird, Nikita Budkov, and Reba Robinson
"Myths and Morals" invites viewers on a journey of interpretation, showcasing artworks rich with narrative. The exhibition explores how artists utilize universal human stories, drawing inspiration from folklore, myths, fairytales, and the stars. These timeless tales, told over and over again, possess an infinite capacity for new meanings and evolving interpretations. Like all good story tellers, these artists are asking, what will you take away from the situation presented in the artwork before you? It is up to you as the viewer to determine the moral of the story.
An Artist Reception will be held at the Initial Point Gallery on Tuesday, August 5, 2025, from 4:30 PM to 7:00 PM. This is a wonderful opportunity to meet the artists and discuss their compelling works.
"Myths and Morals" will be on display through Friday, August 28, 2025.
