The City understands the challenges businesses are facing during this unprecedented time. We appreciate the efforts businesses are taking to prevent the transmission of COVID-19 to vulnerable persons, and to delay the spread of COVID-19 within our community in order to avoid overwhelming our medical system.

We are here to serve as a resource to assist the business community wherever possible. We’ve prepared a quick Resources for Recovery summary and are sharing a Business Toolkit from the Idaho Economic Development Association.

The Coronavirus Aid Relief & Economic Security (CARES) Act, following approval by the US Senate and House, was signed by President Trump on March 27, 2020, with several provisions to assist businesses in keeping their doors open and keeping citizens employed. A Small Business Owner’s Guide to the CARES Act is now available. In addition, a helpful SBA Guide is available to walk applicants through the SBA’s Economic Injury Disaster Loan online application process. All other SBA loans are available through SBA-approved community lenders.
