A Resolute Meridian

Last week I delivered my State of the City to the public, local business owners, and our city employees. I am proud to share the strides our city has made over the past year, while being resolute to our goals for the future. From making investments in public safety, enhancing our quality of life, improving our transportation network, fostering economic growth and focusing on community well-being, our collective efforts are continuing to shape Meridian into being the west’s premier place to live, work and raise a family.

During the speech, I discussed our recent accomplishments.  Many of which are possible because of the key efforts from our employees who care about the community. In addition, I focus on my proposed fiscal year 2025 budget, the future of Eagle Road, plans for the creation of an Auditorium District and more. I was also proud to highlight members of the community in announcing this year’s Legacy Award winner, as well as the City of Meridian youth scholarship recipients. Meridian has a bright future. I know I’m excited to get there, and together we can make it a reality.
