National Night Out is an annual community-building campaign that promotes police-community partnerships and neighborhood camaraderie to make our neighborhoods safer, better places to live. National Night Out enhances the relationship between neighborhoods and law enforcement while bringing back a true sense of community and provides a great opportunity to bring police and neighborhoods together.

National Night Out Donations
Each year the Meridian Police Department collaborates with businesses across Meridian to make National Night Out one of the most anticipated events in the city. This community event promises an excellent opportunity for businesses and the city to connect together to promote the importance of community! If you are an owner or manager of a business who serves Meridian residents, please consider donating to this important event.
We request your assistance for donated items that can be used as prizes for each of the individual neighborhood NNO events. We distribute these donations to 25+ neighborhoods with over 1,500+ attendees. To provide more opportunities to market your business, we suggest donating several items of lesser value to distributed to multiple neighborhoods. For example, donating five $10 gift cards instead of one $50 gift card. If you are not able to donate items of monetary value, we also encourage special discount coupons for NNO participants. For example, a buy one, get one free coupon.
