Swim Lessons

How to Register?

ONLINE: By either clicking the REC1 catalog link below or go to the City of Meridian website (Government tab, Departments tab, Parks and Recreation button, Classes and Camps button, Register for Activities button.

REC1 Notes:

- You must make an account with REC1, before registering for any swim lessons.

- When you are creating your account, be sure to input YOUR information first, as it will then designate you as the Account Holder. By not doing so, you will not have "clearance" to register them.

- When you are in the process of selecting specific levels/ dates and times, please ensure that your CHILD is the one being registered for the class before you add items to your cart - failure to do so, will result in your name being under participants, which will affect class rosters, refunds, possible transfers, and we will be unable to track level progression on our end.

PRIVATE/SEMIPRIVATE LESSONS

Private and Semiprivate lessons will be offered during all of the same session dates, and times as group lessons, IF staffing allows. We will contact those who have completed a waitlist form, IF/WHEN we are able to offer these lessons, in the meantime, we will continue with prioritizing our group lessons. (Beginning in Session 2, we do not have enough staff to offer these specialized lessons during the first Session).

- If you feel that your child would benefit from a more 1:1 approach, please complete a private waitlist form.

- If you have 2 children of the SAME skill level/ability, that will benefit from sharing the same instructor, you will need to complete a Semiprivate waitlist form.
